According to WADA‘s president, Craig Reedie, if the organisation wants to increase its effectiveness in the fight against doping, sponsors and broadcasters should help WADA with funds.

WADA‘s current budget is not enough if the “full-blown investigations are to become the norm”, as he declared. The lack of resources is a problem, so he considers that they should take seriously the idea that major sport sponsors should start to contemplate how to find ways to help fund clear sport.
