In the middle of the scandal of doping positives in swimming, voices have arisen demanding the necessity of increase the number of tests in order to preserve the integrity of sport.

Adam Peaty, British swimmer, declared that the authorities should undertake weekly tests. Although this method is quite more expensive, it would be a way to impose a more severe control over athletes, helping to preserve the sport’s reputation.
